On March 12, family and friends gathered at the Royal Chapel in St. James's Palace to bid farewell to Thomas Kingston. Approximately 140 attendees included Lady Gabriella, Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, the Kingston family, and other close relatives.

As anticipated, Kate Middleton did not attend the service, fueling further speculation about the Princess of Wales's absence from public life.

King Charles III was also unable to attend due to ongoing treatment, leading to minimal public appearances. Royal experts have recently suggested that the King's health situation might be more serious than publicly disclosed.

The Queen Consort, Camilla, also missed the ceremony, taking on some royal duties in Buckingham Palace during this time.

The palace released an official statement: "The King and Queen have been informed of Mr. Kingston's passing and join the Duke and Duchess of Kent and all who knew him in mourning a dearly loved family member. Their Majesties send their heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Lady Gabriella and the Kingston family."
