Celtic, Aberdeen and Scotland’s other European representatives prepare for the upcoming UEFA play-off draws across the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
Celtic are set to face either Slovan Bratislava or Kairat Almaty in the Champions League play-off round.
The winners on 19/20 and 26/27 August will reach the group stage, while the losers drop into the Europa League.
Rangers, after their tie with Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round, will meet either RB Salzburg or Club Brugge in the next round.
If Rangers lose to the Czech side, they will move directly into the Europa League group stage.
Last season Celtic topped their Champions League group and only exited after a narrow defeat to Bayern Munich in the round of 16 play-offs, having also beaten Slovan Bratislava 5-1 at Celtic Park.
Celtic have prior experience against Kazakh opponents, overcoming Shakhter Karagandy and Astana in earlier European campaigns.
Rangers last reached the Champions League group stage in 2022.
Europa and Conference League Paths
Aberdeen will learn their Europa League play-off opponents at the 12:00 BST draw, with potential rivals including Panathinaikos, Midtjylland, Shakhtar Donetsk, FCSB and Lech Poznan.
Hibernian and Dundee United feature in the Conference League play-off draw at 13:00 BST; Hibs face Partizan Belgrade if they advance, while United take on Rapid Vienna. Other possible opponents include Servette, Utrecht, Legia Warsaw, AIK Stockholm and Larne.
The draw outcomes on Tuesday will define the competitive paths for five Scottish clubs across Europe’s top three club tournaments.
