At 33, Salah finished the 2024–25 Premier League season with 29 goals and 18 assists, playing a pivotal role in Liverpool’s title success. He outshone nominees Alexis Mac Allister, Bruno Fernandes, Alexander Isak, Cole Palmer and Declan Rice to claim the award.

Young Player of the Year
Aston Villa’s 23-year-old midfielder Morgan Rogers, signed from Middlesbrough for around £15 million, enjoyed a breakthrough campaign under Unai Emery. Sir Gareth Southgate was honoured with the PFA Merit Award for his contributions to English football. During his eight-year tenure as England manager, he led the team to Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 finals and a World Cup semi-final in 2018, overseeing 102 matches and handing debuts to 42 players.
