Littler Triumphs Over De Decker to Claim Australian Darts Masters Crown
Teenager Luke Littler defeats Mike de Decker 8-4 to win the 2025 Australian Darts Masters in Wollongong.
WOLLONGONG, AUSTRALIA — Teenage world champion Luke Littler claimed the 2025 Australian Darts Masters title with an 8-4 victory over Belgium's Mike de Decker in the final on Saturday.
Littler, 18, dispatched Australia's Damon Heta 6-3 in the first round before overcoming world number five Stephen Bunting 7-4. In the opposite half, debutant De Decker stunned world number one Luke Humphries, affected by illness, with a 6-0 quarter-final win, then beat Chris Dobey 7-4 to reach the final.
After falling 2-0 behind, De Decker levelled at 2-2, but Littler dominated the closing stages, claiming six of the final eight legs to secure the title. "I knew a first-round win would set the tone, and I'm thrilled with this victory," Littler told ITV Sport.
Last year's runner-up to Gerwyn Price, Littler celebrated his first Australian Masters crown after also winning the World Matchplay in Blackpool. He survived a 6-5 opening-night decider against New Zealand's Haupai Puha to start the campaign.
The players now head to Auckland for next weekend's New Zealand Darts Masters.
Luke Littler's commanding display in Wollongong cements his status as a leading figure in the 2025 World Series of Darts.
