Although Apple has not officially acknowledged this as a widespread issue, it has released a feature called “Scale to Camera Level.” This option can be enabled in the settings of any app that doesn’t display correctly. When activated, the app’s menu bar icons and tabs are positioned below the camera notch, preventing any interface elements from being hidden in the blind zone.
However, this solution means the extra screen space made available by the notch remains unused, effectively making the display resemble older MacBook models without a notch.
This workaround is intended as a temporary fix for applications that have not yet been updated to support the new notch design. Once developers release versions optimized for the notch, this setting will be removed from the system preferences.
