Shocking Revelations from the Ex-Minister's Brother's Phone Unveil the Tragic Life of Saltanat

Saltanat endured life-threatening moments and left her husband 12 times, only to return each time. This article explores the harrowing details surrounding her tragic death and ongoing legal proceedings.

Saltanat often faced death and left her husband 12 times but always came back.

The life of 31-year-old Saltanat Nukenova ended on November 9, 2023. Nearly six months have passed since her death, yet the person responsible remains unpunished. The accused is her husband, Kuandyk Bishimbaev, former Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan.

He stands charged with murdering his wife, while his brother, Bakhytzhan Baizhanov, faces accusations of concealing the crime. While Saltanat was fighting for her life, Baizhanov was at the same restaurant but failed to insist on calling emergency services. Both men are behind bars, each presenting their own defense.

  • While Saltanat struggled for survival, the ex-minister was meeting another woman in an adjacent room.

The deeper the judge delves into the case, the clearer it becomes that Saltanat was repeatedly close to death. Bishimbaev refused to unlock his phone or share messages with his wife during the trial, whereas Baizhanov disclosed all information. His phone's gallery contains thousands of photos, including images from the apartment shared by Kuandyk and Saltanat.

Special attention was given to photos taken in March 2023, showing the couple’s bedroom with a mattress soaked in blood and bloodstains on the carpet. These images were sent by Bishimbaev’s housekeeper, accompanied by a message:

"We had to clean everything thoroughly; there was blood everywhere. The mattress was barely cleaned and flipped over. The carpets now need professional dry cleaning," she wrote to Baizhanov, who was the ex-minister’s personal assistant.

The photo dated March 18, 2023, shows blood stains in the apartment, though it is now impossible to determine whose blood it is. Bishimbaev insists it is his own, not Saltanat’s.

He claims that on March 9, he quarreled with his wife. Saltanat became jealous after discovering that Kuandyk had congratulated other women on International Women’s Day (March 8). It is important to note that jealousy and accusations of infidelity were frequent in their household. Saltanat left her husband 12 times, often for this reason, but each time he persuaded her to return.

That evening, Saltanat caused a loud scene, breaking dishes and throwing objects around.

"The woman came to clean on March 10-11. She likely returned a few days later to clean the carpets. The blood is mine, not Saltanat’s. Some dishes and glass were broken, and I cut my right foot deeply on the shards. I have a large scar there. I woke up in the morning and stepped on the broken glass," Bishimbaev said in his defense.

Earlier, he responded to his brother’s claims about frequent fights, stating that he rarely saw Saltanat and Kuandyk argue and accused his brother of slander.

It is important to remember that Bishimbaev reportedly beat his wife all night at the restaurant. The next morning, when she was immobile, he told his brother she was asleep and attempted to carry her out of the venue but failed. According to one version, he then asked for ammonia to wipe away Saltanat’s fingerprints. After she died, he allegedly tried to take his own life but first recorded a video declaring his last will to leave all property to his three children from a previous marriage.
