Three-division world champion Terri Harper has signed with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, aligning with top British fighters as MVP expands its women’s boxing roster.
Terri Harper, the reigning lightweight world champion, has inked a deal with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), stepping away from Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom.
Harper, 28, the only British three-division world champion, joins a growing roster of female fighters at MVP alongside Chantelle Cameron, Ellie Scotney and Savannah Marshall.
Scotney and Marshall debuted this month on the undercard of the Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano III bout at Madison Square Garden, streamed live on Netflix.
“I’m thrilled to join MVP and be part of the evolution in women’s boxing,” Harper said.
Impressive Career and Future Prospects
Harper’s last fight ended in a points victory over Natalie Zimmerman in Doncaster this May. She holds world titles at featherweight, light-middleweight and lightweight, and has faced top talents such as Sandy Ryan, Cecilia Brækhus, Natasha Jonas and undisputed featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner, who also signed with MVP this year.
With a 16-2-2 record, Harper has been seeking a unification bout with Caribbean rival Caroline Dubois. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP’s CEO, suggested former UFC champion Holly Holm, another MVP signee, as a potential opponent.
MVP also announced the signing of ex-bantamweight world champion Shannon Courtenay this week, further bolstering its women’s division.
