According to CNN, the three-year contract is worth $125 million—doubling Cooper’s previous deal with Spotify Technology (SPOT).
Alex Cooper serves as both host and executive producer of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, which delivers candid conversations on relationships, health, culture, and more. SiriusXM hails Cooper as "the world’s top female podcaster."
Exclusive Content Strategy Drives SiriusXM Partnership
The company revealed that the agreement "includes a comprehensive programming development plan for exclusive content with SiriusXM, expected to launch in 2025."
Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer, stated that Cooper’s addition "aligns perfectly with the type of content SiriusXM subscribers cherish and expect from the platform."
Following the announcement, SiriusXM shares closed 6.9% higher on Tuesday and gained an additional 2.3% by midday Wednesday, reaching $3.32. Despite this boost, shares remain nearly 40% lower year-to-date.
