Certain medical conditions allow conscripts to receive a full exemption from military service based on health status.

• Category 'E' means the conscript is not accepted into the army.

Certain diseases, such as oncological conditions and various severe injuries, make conscription impossible.

Common Medical Conditions That Prevent Military Mobilization

Vision Disorders

Individuals with myopia exceeding 6 diopters, hyperopia over 8 diopters, astigmatism above 4 diopters, or certain anatomical eyelid abnormalities are ineligible for mobilization.

Scoliosis

Medical documentation must indicate the highest degree of scoliosis, particularly when the spinal curvature exceeds 17 degrees and is accompanied by pain, walking difficulties, or muscle weakness.

Skin Diseases

Eligibility depends on the severity and chronic nature of the skin condition, including:

• Urticaria;
• eczema;
• psoriasis.

Stomach and Digestive Disorders

Deferment applies to serious diseases affecting the esophagus, intestines, and peritoneum with significant functional impairment. This includes peptic ulcers requiring ongoing medication, as well as certain liver, gallbladder, bile duct, and pancreas disorders.

Spinal Injuries

Conscripts with fractures of the torso bones, upper and lower limbs, nose, skull fractures with bone defects, or compression fractures of the spine are classified as unfit.

Obesity or Underweight

Individuals weighing less than 99 pounds (45 kilograms) or those with severe alimentary obesity (BMI over 40) are not eligible for mobilization.

Partial or Complete Deafness

Citizens with deafness in both ears or muteness due to hearing loss cannot serve. Official guidelines define deafness as the inability to perceive loud sounds near the ear.

• Severe vision impairments: myopia over 6 diopters, hyperopia over 8 diopters, astigmatism over 4 diopters;

• Deformations or significant defects of fingers and hands, or their absence;
• Kidney diseases and renal failure;
• Spinal and brain injuries or other central nervous system disorders;
• Peptic ulcers of the stomach or duodenum;
• Chronic pancreatitis;
• Ischemic heart disease;
• Hypertension of type 1 or higher;
• Congenital heart defects;
• Hematopoietic system disorders with functional impairments;
• Diseases of the spinal and cerebral blood vessels;
• Severe injuries to internal organs of the chest, abdomen, or pelvis causing functional impairment;
• Congenital syphilis;
• Chronic prostatitis;
• Hemorrhoids stages 2 and 3;
• Inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system;
• Endogenous psychoses;
• Schizophrenia;
• Various personality disorders, including bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder;
• Frequent epilepsy seizures;
• Somatoform and neurotic disorders;
• Mental retardation;
• Any oncological diseases;
• Recurrent eczema;
• Critical excess or deficiency in body weight;
• Height under 150 centimeters.
