Jonathan Ive, the renowned lead designer behind Apple's iconic products, has contributed his visionary design expertise to a new Leica camera project.

Sir Jonathan Ive has spent the past year not only refining the iOS 7 interface but also collaborating with fellow esteemed designer Marc Newson to develop the Leica M for (RED). Crafted from premium aluminum and produced as a one-of-a-kind piece, this camera is expected to fetch between $500,000 and $750,000 at a charity auction organized by Product Red. All proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.

Bono, the founder of Product Red, highlighted Apple's close partnership with the organization, noting that Apple is its largest contributor.

In addition to the camera, it was recently announced that Jonathan Ive and Bono will unveil a pair of limited-edition EarPods made from rose gold at an upcoming charity auction this November.
