Anyone who frequently works with screenshots knows that raw captures are rarely used as-is. Typically, screenshots require some enhancement using graphic editing software. Fortunately, there's a simpler solution that saves time: the Pika service.

Pika enables quick and easy screenshot editing by allowing you to add a suitable background, shadows, and apply various effects like rounded corners. The tool is incredibly straightforward to use.

To get started, select a screenshot by clicking the center area of the window or paste a previously copied screen section using Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on Mac).

Once your screenshot is loaded, editing controls appear on the right sidebar. The main window provides a live preview to instantly see your changes.

You can choose the background color from a preset gradient palette or manually pick a color by clicking the Pick button. The Aspect Ratio option adjusts the canvas size, while Padding controls the space around the image. Selecting None for Padding removes the background entirely.

The Rounded Corners and Screenshot Position options let you control the corner radius and the screenshot’s placement on the canvas. Shadow size is adjustable via the Shadow setting. Additionally, enabling Noise adds a subtle grain effect to the background, giving it a lively texture.

Once your design is complete, you can either copy the image to paste elsewhere or download it as a PNG file. Use the Copy button or press Ctrl + C (Cmd + C on Mac) to copy, and the Save button or Ctrl + S (Cmd + S) to download.
