The 29-year-old midfielder signed an 18-month deal with Como in January following his release from Everton, but his sole appearance ended with a sending off ten minutes after coming on as a substitute.

Manager Cesc Fàbregas did not envisage Alli in his plans for the 2025–26 campaign, prompting both parties to agree on an early contract termination. Como thanked the player for his tenure and wished him well.

Alli’s only outing came in March, marking his first professional match since February 2023 during a loan spell at Beşiktaş. He entered as an 81st-minute replacement but was shown a red card in stoppage time for a challenge on England teammate Ruben Loftus-Cheek of Milan.

The midfielder was part of England’s squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
