Yandex Launches Station Mini 2 with Display and Smart TV Module

Yandex has unveiled the Station Mini 2 smart speaker, now available for pre-order with sales starting on October 15th.
The Station Mini 2 comes in two variants: the classic model and an upgraded version equipped with an LED display that shows the time, weather updates, and timers.
Both versions boast four microphones, touch control buttons, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz). The speaker's power has been significantly increased to 10 watts, compared to the original model's 3 watts. Additional features include an AUX input and the ability to pair multiple speakers for stereo sound.
The base model is priced at approximately $80, while the interactive display variant costs around $93.
Alongside the speaker, Yandex introduced the new Yandex.Module player, which adds Smart TV capabilities with the voice assistant Alice to any standard television, enabling convenient voice control.
The Yandex.Module connects to your TV via HDMI, links to Wi-Fi, and launches the Yandex.TV platform, offering access to movies, TV shows, music, and more. It supports 4K video playback and Dolby Vision for an enhanced viewing experience.
The device is controlled using the included remote control, which features a dedicated microphone button to activate Alice, allowing users to search for content using voice commands.
Alternatively, the Station Mini 2 speaker itself can be used to control the Yandex.Module, thanks to its superior microphone array. The speaker can also help locate the remote control if misplaced within the home.
Until October 14th, customers can purchase the Yandex.Module and the Station Mini 2 with display as a bundle for approximately $120, which includes a one-year subscription to Yandex Plus as a bonus. The Yandex.Module is also available separately for about $67. Sales officially begin on October 15th.
