Prime Video has announced that The Summer I Turned Pretty, the hit young-adult series, will conclude with a feature film.

Jenny Han, the author of the original trilogy and showrunner, will write and direct the movie, expanding the global franchise.

The third and final season debuted this week in the US and UK, placing protagonist Isabel "Belly" at a turning point between her ex-fiancé, Jeremiah, and his brother, Conrad.

The film announcement followed the emotional season finale and was revealed during the Season 3 premiere celebration in Paris, where star Lola Tung (Belly) and co-star Christopher Briney (Conrad) appeared on the red carpet in front of a billboard promoting the movie.
