Retailer resumes in-store pickup after a cyber breach halted online and click & collect orders since April

Marks & Spencer has reopened its click and collect service 15 weeks after suspending it due to a major cyber attack.
The retailer halted clothing and home delivery orders on its website and app on 25 April, also pausing in-store collections.
Online orders resumed on 10 June, and the company has now announced that click and collect is fully restored.
M&S has been contacted for comment.
Business Impact
The breach exposed some customer data, prompting warnings to be vigilant against fraudulent emails, calls or texts posing as M&S.
The hack disrupted online operations and left some store shelves empty in the immediate aftermath.
M&S estimates the attack will cut this year’s profits by around £300m, with hopes of recouping some losses through insurance.
In July, chief executive Stuart Machin told investors the worst of the fallout would be over by August.
