Full-Body Workout That Will Activate Every Muscle in Just 20 Minutes

This 20-minute interval workout effectively tones your legs and abs, strengthens your back, shoulders, and arms, and burns a significant amount of calories. Perform it with intensity for the best results.

In just 20 minutes, you will fully engage your body, burn fat, and boost your endurance.

This interval training intensely targets the muscles in your legs and core while also working your back, shoulders, and arms. When done vigorously, it burns more calories than a half-hour of steady jogging.

Perform each exercise for 40 seconds, then rest for 20 seconds before moving on to the next. For the side bends, hold each leg for 20 seconds.

The workout includes seven exercises:

  1. Crab walk steps in place.
  2. Jump squats transitioning from narrow to wide stance.
  3. Shoulder taps in a plank position.
  4. 45-degree lunges.
  5. Reverse plank hold.
  6. Single-leg side bends.
  7. Sprinter twists.

After completing one full round, rest for 20 seconds, then repeat. Aim for three rounds.

If 40 seconds of continuous effort is challenging, try a 30/30 format: 30 seconds of work followed by 30 seconds of rest. You can also adjust the number of rounds to suit your fitness level—complete two or even just one round. Remember, even seven minutes of activity is better than none.
