The 29-year-old was named a captain’s pick by US Ryder Cup skipper Keegan Bradley for the matches at Bethpage Black from 26–28 September. Griffin said: 'I've been pretty focused on this golf tournament. Once I step to the first tee, my goal is to play well here. This week I'm staying confident, motivated and keeping the pedal down.'
