Club owner Michele Kang describes the initiative as a powerful statement in support of women's sport. The Lionesses have partnered with media company Togethxr, founded by sports icons including two-time World Cup champion Alex Morgan.
Togethxr's 'Everyone Watches' campaign has already featured athletes like tennis stars Aryna Sabalenka and Qinwen Zheng during the US Open. The company was co-founded by Morgan along with WNBA legend Sue Bird, Olympic swimmer Simone Manuel, and snowboard Olympian Chloe Kim.
London City earned promotion to the Women's Super League as the first fully independent club after winning last season's Championship. Kang said: "London City Lionesses was built to reimagine women's football - bold, independent, and progressive. Showcasing 'Everyone Watches Women's Sports' on our kit will spark vital conversations advancing women's sport."
Since Kang's acquisition in December 2023, she has invested in new training facilities and signed 15 players, including England forward Nikita Parris, Netherlands midfielder Danielle van de Donk, and Italian defender Elena Linari.
By partnering with a female-athlete-led brand, London City Lionesses aim to elevate visibility and dialogue around women's sports at the highest level.
