ZTE has officially launched the Axon 20 5G, a mid-range smartphone that pioneers the integration of a front-facing camera hidden under the display — marking a first in commercial smartphone technology.
The device boasts a 6.92-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, incorporating a 32 MP under-display front camera, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and an integrated speaker. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 765G processor paired with a liquid cooling system. It also features a 4,220 mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging and runs on the MiFavor 10.5 interface atop Android 10.
While the front camera steals the spotlight, the rear camera setup is equally impressive. It includes a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens with a 120° field of view, and two additional 2 MP modules dedicated to macro photography and depth sensing.
The camera system supports 4K video recording at 60 fps and offers cinematic 20.5:9 aspect ratio video capture. Users can apply bokeh effects and filters live during recording.
