The main camera system is equally impressive, featuring multiple sensors. The premium version includes a 48 MP primary module (f/1.8), a 16 MP wide-angle lens (f/2.2), and a 2 MP depth sensor for enhanced portrait effects. The more affordable Nova 4 variant replaces the 48 MP main camera with a 20 MP sensor.
Performance is powered by Huawei's proprietary octa-core Kirin 970 processor clocked up to 2.4 GHz, paired with the Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and an LTE Cat.18 modem. The device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The built-in battery has a capacity of 3750 mAh and supports fast charging via USB Type-C. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with Huawei's EMUI 9.0.1 interface.
