The grand prize was awarded to Dennis Stogsdill for his striking photo of a caracal hunting a flamingo. He received a $1,900 USD cash prize along with the prestigious title of Nature Through the Lens Photographer of the Year 2022.
In the category for young photographers, 13-year-old Achintya Murthy from India earned first place with a dramatic image of two Malabar parakeets fighting over territory in Karnataka.
