During the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled two impressive smartphones: the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. Both models share a striking resemblance in design and specifications.
Both devices feature vibrant Super AMOLED screens with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 800 nits. They include stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos, expandable storage up to 1TB, and IP67-rated protection against dust and water. Notably, both are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G chipset, delivering smooth and efficient performance.
The Galaxy A52 is the more compact option, boasting a 6.5-inch display, while the Galaxy A72 offers a larger 6.7-inch screen. Both share a Full HD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. A small punch-hole at the top houses a 32MP fixed-focus selfie camera for crisp self-portraits.
The Galaxy A52's main camera setup includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and an additional 5MP depth sensor. It supports optical image stabilization, 4K video recording, and a Video Snap feature that extracts high-quality 8MP photos from video footage.
The Galaxy A72 shares the first three camera modules but upgrades the fourth to an 8MP telephoto lens, enabling 3x optical zoom and up to 30x digital zoom.
