Last week, Xiaomi unveiled the GT variant of the highly acclaimed Poco F3, known globally as the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Now, the Poco X3 receives a similar upgrade, emerging as the global counterpart of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.
The primary difference between these two models lies in the inclusion of Google services, which are unavailable in the Chinese version. Additionally, the rear panel features the Poco logo instead of Redmi — the only visible change.
In terms of specifications, both smartphones are identical. The front showcases a 6.6-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Since the panel is not AMOLED, the fingerprint scanner is conveniently placed on the side. A 16MP front camera is housed in a small punch-hole at the top center.
The rear camera setup includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro module.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, depending on the variant. A robust 5,000mAh battery supports fast charging at 67W. The Poco X3 GT runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 right out of the box.
The Poco X3 GT is priced at $299 for the 128GB model, while the 256GB version is available for $329.
Sales begin tomorrow, July 29, at 10:00 AM Moscow time. Early buyers can take advantage of discount coupons, reducing the prices to $259 and $279 respectively.
