For context, Earth's oceans cover 70% of its surface but represent only about 1% of its mass. TOI-1452 b is roughly 70% larger in size and nearly five times more massive than Earth, with a rocky terrain beneath its vast oceans.
Remarkably, TOI-1452 b resides within the habitable zone of its binary stars—neither too close nor too far—allowing liquid water to persist on its surface.
The planet orbits its binary stars every 11.1 days. The two stars are separated by about 97 astronomical units (AU), which is approximately 2.5 times the distance between our Sun and Pluto. TOI-1452 b is situated approximately 100 light-years from Earth.
