Russian Company Unveils Flight Prototype of Hi-Fly Cargo Delivery Drone
Discover the innovative Hi-Fly Cargo drone, designed for transporting goods to remote areas and emergency response, featuring a 170 kg payload capacity and advanced Russian technology.
The Hi-Fly Cargo drone can carry loads up to 170 kg.
The Biryuch Innovation Center, part of the Belgorod-based EFCO Group, has successfully completed flight tests of the Hi-Fly Cargo prototype, a cutting-edge cargo unmanned aerial vehicle.
This drone is designed for delivering supplies to hard-to-reach locations, evacuating injured individuals, and supporting emergency response operations. During a test flight, Hi-Fly Cargo autonomously transported 100 kg of medical supplies and returned carrying a simulated injured person weighing 80 kg.
The prototype can fly distances up to 20 kilometers, reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h, while carrying a maximum payload of 170 kg.
The developers highlight that 70% of the drone's components are sourced from Russia, with plans to achieve 100% domestic parts integration in the next model iteration.
Established in 2013 by EFCO, the Biryuch Innovation Center houses 12 state-of-the-art laboratories focusing on scientific advancements in food technology, artificial intelligence, and aerodynamics.
