New Trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come Promises Escalating Terror
The chilling trailer for Ready or Not 2 hints that Grace's nightmare has only begun, with a sister by her side as rival families vie for control in a deadly game.
Searchlight Pictures has released the first trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, a horror comedy sequel that picks up where the 2019 hit left off. The teaser shows Grace stepping into a new level of danger as the deadly game continues.
In this sequel, Grace must secure a position on the High Council that governs the world, but she is not alone. Her sister Faith joins the fight as four rival families bid for power, pushing the stakes higher than before.
A new poster for the film has been unveiled.
The film stars Samara Weaving returning as Grace, alongside Catherine Newton, Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and David Cronenberg. The movie is directed again by Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
The release is scheduled for April 10 in theaters.
Expert note: Industry observers say the sequel elevates the tension and humor, expanding the world while keeping the original's claustrophobic feel. The partnership between Grace and Faith adds a fresh dynamic to the deadly game.
Ready or Not 2: Here I Come builds on the premise of a deadly family game with bigger political stakes and sharper suspense. Audiences can expect fast pacing, dark humor, and new twists as Grace faces off against powerful rivals. Returning cast and seasoned directors aim to deliver a satisfying continuation for fans and newcomers alike.
The film raises the bar by turning personal danger into a broader power struggle, where every move counts in a high-stakes game.
